Applications are invited for PhD positionsin the Security of Software
(SOS) Lab(http://www.cse.psu.edu/~gxt29/sos/) at the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering,Pennsylvania State University,
USA. The SOS lab is led by Dr. Gang Tan.Dr. Tan's research interests
include software security, programminglanguages, and
compilers. Successful applicants will havea Bachelor's degree or
Master's degree in Computer Science or arelated field. Ideally, they
will also have a strong, documentedinterest in doing
research. Familiarity with one of thefollowing areas is not required,
but would be an advantage: system security,compilers, programming
languages, and operating systems.
